New York's Gay Pride Weekend Bigger — and Jewier — Than Ever

Bill De Blasio Speaks at Shabbat To Kick Off Festivities

By Brian Schaefer

(Haaretz) — The most outrageous snapshots from any given Pride parade tend to be the most popular – six-foot drag queens (seven, if you count heels and hair,) chiseled go-go dancers in mini-Speedos, loads of glitter. It is an event that has come to be defined by party boys.

But ahead of New York Pride this weekend, many Jewish groups in the area are using the event to bring attention to political and social issues. They are doing so with the help of guests such as Bill De Blasio, the mayor of New York, and activists from Africa, which has been a region of particular concern in recent years as countries like Uganda and Nigeria pass sweeping anti-LGBT legislation.

De Blasio will deliver the keynote address on Friday night at Congregation Beit Simchat Torah, the world’s largest LGBT synagogue and a pioneering Jewish presence in the New York Pride Parade. De Blasio, who will be introduced by the actress and congregation member Cynthia Nixon, joins a long line of cultural and political leaders who have addressed the Jewish LGBT community on the eve of Pride. Past speakers include the playwright Tony Kushner and nearly every mayor, except Rudy Giuliani.

The Jew and the Other: Alain Soral & Gilad Atzmon in Lyon

Comment by Gilad Atzmon: This lecture appeared on the net 24 hours ago. In spite of its length and depth, it attracted 40.000 viewers in such a short time. The meaning of it is simple:

1. we are a mass movement

2. the future of intellectual exchange is out of the Zionised academia that is suffocated with marginal 'studies' that detach humans from questions to do with Being & Time.

The future of humanity is where freedom is.

The lecture was given on May 26th 2014

Lib Dem Friends of Palestine promote Atzmon

Even though Gilad Atzmon’s vile views have been widely condemned by anti-racists, including many pro-Palestinian activists, Lib Dem Friends of Palestine have promoted his racist attack on Ed Miliband’s speech to the LFI on their Facebook page.

As the Brits were expressing their disapproval of ‘Red Ed’ and his clumsy politics, the Labour leader found the time to socialise with the Jewish Lobby. The following is Ed Miliband’s speech to LFI (Labour Friends Of Israel), the same Zionist Lobby group that funded Blair’s government as it drove Britain into a criminal war in Iraq.

In his speech, Ed Miliband affirms his deep Zionist affiliation. The verdict on his reign is clear, Miliband should never have been the leader of a major British political party. He would have been better suited for a position as a local Rabbi or a part time job as an Israeli consular.

Dead Sea Israelis Making Business (Taking Advantage)

Over two weekends, an 82-year-old woman was bullied into buying $5000 worth of cosmetics – mostly wrinkle cream for a range of different skin types.

On the first occasion, young Israelis salesmen kept the woman at the booth after the mall had closed, making three separate sales totalling more than $3000, taking partial EFTPOS payments, and then accompanying her to ATMs around the mall to pay the balance in cash.

On the second occasion the elderly woman was sold more cosmetics in two separate $999 sales, emptying her bank account.

Ms T, who doesn't want to reveal her identity, says she is embarrassed.

"I feel as if I'm a silly old chook," says Ms T. "Honestly, at my age spending all that money on that product is ridiculous."

Secret Soviet Reveals: Wiezmann Outlined the Nakba as Early as 1941

Forthcoming in G. Gorodetsky (ed.), A Red Ambassador to the Court of St. James’s: The Diaries of Ivan Maisky, 1932-43.

Introduction by Gilad Atzmon

The following is a unique historical document. It is an extract from The Diaries of Ivan Maisky, the Soviet Ambassador to Britain from 1932 to 1943. As far as I am aware this is the debut online appearance of this invaluable document.

Ivan Maisky (second from left), the Soviet ambassador to London between 1932 and 1943, with Winston Churchill at the Allied ambassadors’ lunch at the Soviet embassy, September 1941. General Władysław Sikorski, prime minister of the Polish government in exile, is second from right.

Maisky, a former Menshevik of Jewish origin, kept a highly personal diary. He recorded conversations with five British prime ministers, as well as with many other prominent British politicians.

In this extract, written on 3 February 1941, Maisky recounts his brief meeting with the Zionist leader Chaim Weizmann, later the first president of Israel. Maisky provides crucial insights into the history of Zionism including the brutality of the Jewish plan for Palestine and the Middle East. Noticeably, the document reveals that an intention to expel the Palestinians was explored by Zionist leaders as early as 1941.

Chaim Weizmann

...Those who believe that the racially driven expulsion of the Palestinians from their land in 1948 was the result of a series of tragic events, can discover from Maisky’s diary that in 1941 an ethnic cleansing plan had already been outlined. Maisky writes in his diary: “For the only ‘plan’ which Weizmann can think of to save central European Jewry (and in the first place Polish Jewry) is this: to move a million Arabs now living in Palestine to Iraq, and to settle four or five million Jews from Poland and other countries on the land which the Arabs had been occupying.”

The New Jewish Prophet

Marc H. Ellis on Gilad Atzmon

Introduction by Gilad Atzmon: I learned this week that Professor Marc H. Ellis - regarded by many as the contemporary leading Jewish theologian, came to the conclusion that yours truly, is the new Jewish prophet.

Here are some quotes I found in the final chapter of “Future of the Prophetic,” Ellis’ new epic treatise.

The Prophet

“Like the ancient prophets Atzmon exposes Jews. At the same time, Atzmon believes that the Bible, from which the prophets spring, is bogus….Atzmon provides no hiding place for Jews anywhere.”  (Future of the Prophetic, Marc H. Ellis pg’ 332)

“Atzmon is extreme but, in his extremity, he is much like the biblical prophets.” (pg’332)

“Atzmon performs the prophetic for our time. Like the biblical prophets he does not acknowledge, Atzmon believes we are at the end of Jewish history, a history, like the prophets, he no longer believe exists or, if it does, is not worthy of being carried forward. Irony of ironies, he witnesses to the continuity of both” (pg’ 334)

“Like Moses, though with a twist, Atzmon is constrained from entering the land….Atzmon refuses to return until the Promised Land is liberated from the modern-day Israelites. In short, Atzmon’s homeland is occupied by Jews” (pg’ 336)

Hebrew University Jerusalem. Students and family members walked out of the graduation ceremony during the speech of Palestinian author and commentator Sayed Kashua.

Students at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem angrily walked out during a graduation ceremony speech by Palestinian author and commentator Sayed Kashua, claiming he referred to last week's kidnapping of three settlers in an inappropriate way that hurt their feelings.

Students from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and family members walked out of their graduation ceremony last Thursday during the speech of Palestinian author and commentator Sayed Kashua. The students told the Israeli news portal ynet that Kashua referred to last week's kidnapping of three teenage settlers in a manner that hurt their feelings and which was inappropriate for the occasion.

Controlling the Opposition..

Final paragraph,  Nathan Thrall's Whose Palestine? (New York Review of Books)

The larger question is how long the West Bank status quo will last. No successful national liberation movement has depended so heavily—in the realms of finance, security, diplomacy, and mediation—on the closest ally of its occupier. US funding to the Palestinians is an obstacle to, or excuse for refraining from, just about every means of leverage against Israel that Palestinians might employ. For the Ramallah leadership, maintaining strong ties with the US means it cannot encourage popular protests in the West Bank, cannot limit cooperation on security when Israel invades areas ostensibly under Palestinian Authority control, cannot attempt to join a number of UN agencies and international institutions, cannot grant political freedoms to non-militants in Hamas, cannot meaningfully share power with Hamas in the PLO, and, not least, cannot allow real democracy in Palestine.

Ed Miliband - A Shameless Zionist In Our Midst

Ed Miliband speech to Labour Friends of Israel

Introduction By Gilad Atzmon:

Yesterday, a poll indicated that half of the British voters figure that “Ed Miliband should be dumped as Labour leader before the next general election.”

Some 49 per cent think that Miliband should be replaced - including 43 per cent of Labour supporters.  It is hard to imagine, but Miliband is even less popular than Lib Dem leader Nick Clegg who managed to alienate just 44% of the voters.

On the current events in Palestine, the Jewish Labour leader says,

“I am sure all of our thoughts today are with the 3 kidnapped Israeli teenagers, Naftali Frenkel, Gilad Shaar, and Eyal Yifrach and their families. We all profoundly hope for their speedy and safe return.”

For whatever reason, the Labour leader fails to share his sympathies with thethousands of Palestinians who have been  kidnapped by the Jewish State and have been rotting  in Israeli jails for decades. It hasn’t been clearly established that the 3 Israeli settler teenagers were abducted. As time has passed, more and more analysts believe that the recent affair may be another Israeli false flag operation. Remember that the Mossad’s motto is ‘By Way of Deception.’ As we review the available evidence, we see that the ‘kidnap’ provides Israel with an opportunity to hit hard at Palestinian civilians and leadership.

It doesn’t take long for the Labour leader’s speech to exhibit the complete panoply of Jewish tribal commitment. He reminds the Lobby that he speaks as

“a Jew, as a (Jewish) son, a (Jewish) grandson and a (Jewish) father.”

Death of “Klinghoffer”

Bowing to pressure from “the Anti-Defamation League, representing the wishes of the Klinghoffer daughters,” the Met has canceled its scheduled HD telecast of The Death of Klinghoffer next season. A press release follows the jump.

The Metropolitan Opera to cancel its Live in HD transmission of

John Adams’s The Death of Klinghoffer scheduled for this fall

New York, NY (June 17, 2014) – After an outpouring of concern that its plans to transmit John Adams’s opera The Death of Klinghoffer might be used to fan global anti-Semitism, the Metropolitan Opera announced the decision today to cancel its Live in HD transmission, scheduled for November 15, 2014. The opera, which premiered in 1991, is about the 1985 hijacking of the Achille Lauro cruise ship and the murder of one of its Jewish passengers, Leon Klinghoffer, at the hands of Palestinian terrorists.
