What attracts world leaders to that wall? Is it possible that our world leaders are all (somehow) so attracted to walls that they do not even mind  being caught on camera in such an intimate moment with that one particular wall?  And if not, how do we explain the fact that so many of our world leaders are caught so close to that wall with their eyes closed? 

If Jews want to rid the world of antisemitism, Jewish bodies should carefully self reflect and take responsibility for their own actions….

In March I was sued for libel by the chairman of the Campaign Against Anti Semitism (CAA), Gideon Falter, for suggesting that ‘Antisemitism is a business plan.’ The case has now settled but I am left with a huge hole in my pocket. I remain short by about £40.000. Asking you for money is very upsetting for me but this is an important battle for all of us...

The title of Ronen Bergman’s book, ‘Rise and Kill First,’  comes from the Babylonian Talmud: “If someone comes to kill you, rise up and kill him first.” In his recent appearance on Democracy Now, Bergman repeated this phrase, arguing that the Talmudic verse defines the lethal practice that Israel has used for three generations.

Although Democrats and Republicans can no longer talk to each other, it seems that both are happy to talk to Israel and the Lobby. And it is at AIPAC’s annual conference that these political foes compete in their eagerness to appease a foreign state. This anomaly in American politics demands attention.

Israeli military doesn’t have a military solution to Israel’s  security problems. The IDF cannot win a war with either Hamas or  Hezbollah. This may explain PM Netanyahu’s frequent confrontations with Syria and Iran:  winning battles against sovereign entities may simply be more achievable for Israel and its Lobby than quelling unruly freedom fighters.

The old political battle between Left and Right has been replaced by post- political Identitarian wars. WW3 is not going to be fought between countries, or states or across borders. It will be a war that splits states, societies and even families apart.

Their bond with the American national or patriotic ethos is secondary and often even non-existent.

It is comforting to learn that  Jewish progressive groups such as Bend the Arc support refugees; do they also support the Palestinian refugees?

Mr. Trump has made no secret of his desire to stop illegal immigration from the south, and Jews may rightly be incensed that he is using immigration as a campaign tactic, particularly demonising Hispanics, but Ms Kushner fails to show how this is a Jewish issue rather than an issue for the United States as a whole.

Earlier today the world lost a distinguished insightful mind and I lost one of my best friends. Enzo Apicella, the greater than life, tireless cartoonist passed away in Rome this morning.

Last Saturday we heard the disturbing news of a gun attack on a synagogue in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania that left eleven people dead. Today I was surprised to find out that some in Pennsylvania had seen it coming.  The following 2017 Israeli TV video tells the story of Cherev Gideon, an IDF like Jewish militia operating in Pennsylvania that trains American Jews to “shoot the Israeli Style.” 

I was interviewed yesterday by Patrick Henningsen/Sunday Wire about the recent synagogue shooting in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I offered my view of this tragic event and also allowed myself to offer an alternative view of the current dystopia. Unlike most liberals and so called ‘progressives,’ I see the constant rise in mass shooting events around the globe as a symptom of a radical shift in our human landscape. We are rapidly drifting away from empathy and tolerance. In the discussion I suggested that we better look at the root of that shift and identify the disease instead of focusing on the symptoms.
