Anthony Lawson: The Death of American Democracy
Lawson produces again the most appropriate criticism of Israel. He delivers a devastating message, yet, he manages to mix it with wit and sarcasm. I admire the man.

(Gilad Atzmon: I perform with Sarah and produce her music for a few years. Sarah is an incredible talent: singer song writer, poet and a thinker. Check her out and take a look at the video bellow.)
Sarah Gillespie: Over a year ago I went to see Andy Worthington and Polly Nash’s brilliant documentary 'Outside the Law, Stories from Guantánamo'. I wrote a paper about it here. It is the kind of film you can’t shake off. It leaves you with a lingering sense of what it might mean to be arbitrarily captured, tortured, humiliated and left without any plausible hope of reprieve. It evokes the cataclysmic trauma and despair, the heavy grief of all those stolen years. One British resident still flounders in this zone of no jurisdiction. He is Shaker Aarmer. There is no legal reason for his continued incarceration. He has never been charged with a crime and there is no reliable evidence against him. After seeing Andy and Polly’s film I was haunted by Aamer’s plight, by the suffering of his wife who still lives in Battersea where she has been repeatedly hospitalized with nervous breakdowns - and by the awareness that, while I look forward to going out for dinner tonight in London, Shaker Aamer is still in Guantánamo

The Zionist Story is an independent film by Ronen Berelovich. It tells the story of the ethnic cleansing of the indigenous Palestinians and the creation of the Jews Only State. This is an incredible documentary. You want to find the time to watch it from beginning to end.
Gilad Atzmon: A Zionist blitzed me this morning with a few questions. I thought they were pretty interesting and decided to share my answers with my readers.
Q: is there any definition in your lexicon of what an anti Semite is?
GA: "The Anti Semites" is an open list of the people the Jewish people hate.
Q: Do you consider yourself Jewish?
GA: I haven't been a Jew for many years -- but I still may be slightly Jewish. This is unfortunate, but I try to deal with it.

On June 16 I was guesting with Palestinian activist, Sammi Ibrahem, on his radio show on Unity FM, Birmingham. I was looking forward to meet Sammi, who is the man behind the invaluable shoa.org.uk, a site dedicated to the Palestinian Holocaust.
I believe that the radio program will be interesting to those of us involved in the cause, and the topics are, indeed serious : we spoke about Israel, Palestine, Zionism, Holocaust, Nakba, Kashmir, and more.
The comical part of the talk however -- starring my stalker, Tony Greenstein -- starts around 19:51 and lasts for about 7 minutes.

( Note : Also, I made a bit of a silly mistake in the course of the discussion; I referred to Yitzhak Ben-Zvi as the first Israeli president. He was obviously the second.)
Stop killing our kids, stop killing any kids, stop killing!!!
We are used to reading about Israelis and Jews bragging about the inherent bond between Israel, enlightenment, modernity, science and technology. Hence, it may take us by surprise to find out that in the Jewish State, a dog was ‘sentenced to death by stoning’ by a Rabbinical court.
For more than ten years I have been writing about Israel, Zionism and Jewish identity. I am engaged in a process of deconstruction and critique of different Jewish texts, ideas, politics and practice. My intent is aiming towards some deeper realisation of what Zionism is. In my opinion, Zionism is one of the most dangerous political movements. It is a global operation that threatens world peace on a daily basis.
I am delighted to say that my views are well distributed. My books are translated into 22 languages, my papers are highly circulated as well. I contribute regularly to many left magazines both in the printed media as well as online ones. And yet, I have never seen an argumentative piece against any of my writings. No one has ever dared challenge my philosophical ideas. Instead of doing that, they label me. They call me names, they misquote me, they lie and they are very quick to believe their own lies. In other words, based on their responses, they are Zionists and they behave like ones.
This page is dedicated to my bitterest opponents. It is an open list of the different labels that have been attached to my name. Each label is followed by my comment. This page is a glimpse into the world of Zionist ugliness.
Over a week ago I emailed to the well- known blogger Philip Weiss, an interesting post written by Nahida (AKA The Exiled Palestinian).
In her article, Jewish Voice For Peace? Really?? , Nahida expresses some sharp criticism of Jewish anti-Zionist groups, forcefully arguing that “Anti-Zionist Jewish organisations are trying to silence Palestine's supporters, to frame the debate” and to “steer the course of the liberation” of her homeland.
Since Weiss runs the most popular Jewish progressive blog, offering an invaluable source of information regarding Israeli crimes, I thought he might be willing to address Nahida’s criticism, and to discuss it with his many progressive Jewish followers.
Weiss did not post Nahida’s article on his blog, but his discussion with me was brave and honest*, and to a certain extent he affirmed Nahida’s criticism, admitting that it was indeed ‘Jewish self-interest’ that he himself was ‘concerned with’.
Weiss had the following to say on the matter: “I believe all people act out of self-interest. And Jews who define themselves at some level as Jews -- like myself for instance -- are concerned with a Jewish self-interest. Which in my case is: an end to Zionism. A theory of political life based on altruism or concern for victims purely is doomed to fail.”
Openly and bluntly, Weiss confirmed what many of us have been saying for a very long time: it is not solely ‘altruism’ or concern for Palestinians victims that motivates some of the most prominent Jewish campaigners and organisations, but it is also, as Weiss freely admits, ‘Jewish self-interest.’

At least they laugh about it all...
His name is Glenn Beck and he is pathetic beyond belief!
As NATO attacks continue in Libya, ex US Congresswoman and former presidential candidate Cynthia McKinney went to the country on a non-governmental fact-finding mission to see what exactly is going on in the war-torn country. Cynthia McKinney believes the bombardments of Libyan cities and other measures taken by NATO, causing civilian casualties, represent the idea of "collective punishment".
Polat Alemdar and his men comprise a Turkish commando team are going to Palestine to get revenge of the aid workers who were killed by israeli commandos in the Flotilla bound to Gaza...
It is fascinating to look at the symbolism and fetishism that is attached to the Jewish political discourse. While the Israeli settlers in the video above wave their blue and white flags and seem to march in total uniformity, the young single dissident American Jew, is also subject to symbolism. Though he says the right things, he, for some reason, covers himself with identifiers. He put a skullcap on to prove he belongs to the Jews. The Scarf is there to note the solidarity with the Palestinians. He holds the American passport because he is also talking on behalf of the Americans.
I personally think, that if Jews want to oppose Israel, Zionism and Jewish Exceptionalism, they better drift away from Jewish fetishism and act ordinarily.
