Caricature Chief Rabbi Sacks Caught off Guard

undefined

By Gilad Atzmon

Chief Rabbi Lord Sacks was caught off guard during a Radio 4 interview this morning when he accused Iran of being part of the Gaza conflict.

Appearing on the Today programme broadcast he was asked by presenter Evans Davis for his reaction to the situation in Gaza immediately after delivering the daily peaceful ‘Thought for the Day’.

He initially responded: 'I think it's got to do with Iran, actually.' Rabbi Sacks clearly spoke his mind.

But when the Rabbi was told he was live on air, he quickly changed his spots and  responded by making a plea for peace saying: "A continued prayer for peace is needed, not only in Gaza but the whole region.'

Tel Aviv is next.

Soon after we learned that the  Israeli Air Force managed to 'dismantle' Hamas' middle range ballistic capability, we  happened to read that Tel Aviv is subject to rockets attack. I guess that by the time Israel is 'ready for peace', it may be on its knees.

The verdict is clear, the Israelis  never learn. I guess that Israel will unleash its wrath tonight. Justice Goldstone, better dust off his judicial hammer.

Ali Abunimah on Gaza and Lust (Video + comment)

Here is a rare opportunity to watch Ali Abunimah doing what he is good at.

Abunimah is certainly one of the best Palestinian spokespersons, Here he manages to present the correct time line that led to the current escalation in Gaza.  Abunimah better concentrate on exposing Israeli criminality, rather than chasing the enemies of Israel within our ranks.

However, in this short interview Abunimah refers twice to Israel's 'irrational lust for violence' and I am left slightly puzzled.  Just a year ago, the same Abunimah was outraged by my criticism of Jewish and Israeli culture. I would love to learn from  Abunimah what he has in mind when he talks about 'Israel’s lust for violence'.  Isn’t he directly referring here to some sort of collective culture or even biology? Can we grasp the notion of ‘lust’ without a reference to biology or culture?

Abunimah better spend some time reading The Wandering Who. The book will provide him with a deep insight into ‘Israel’s lust for violence’. It will also provide him with the necessary information regarding the cultural heritage that led toward the emergence of such a genocidal cult.

Israel: Petraeus was unfaithful to us

Israel: Petraeus was unfaithful to us

This reporter has confirmed some of the suspicions that CIA Director David Petraeus’ infidelity went well beyond his dalliance with Paula Broadwell. One well-placed source confirmed that, “My God, if we had to sack everyone in the military and intelligence communities for sleeping around, we would be decimated! Petraeus must have done something much worse.”

RIGHT: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin “Bibi” Netanyahu is breaking up with CIA Director David Petraeus due to his infidelity to Israel. (CLICK TO ENLARGE)

Some discrete inquiries led, as usual, to Israel, and a very high placed contact that I cannot reveal but to whom I will refer as B.B. Here is what he had to say:

Barb Wire: B.B., you admit to some concerns about General Petraeus. Please elaborate.

B.B.: As you know, Barb, the U.S. and Israel have a relationship that goes well beyond friendship. I’m afraid Gen. Petraeus betrayed that relationship.

    Barb Wire: What happened?

B.B.: In 2010, he described Israel as a strategic liability for the U.S. because our struggle to liberate as much land as possible from Palestinians and our Arab neighbors is an obstacle to resolving the conflicts in Iraq, Afghanistan and other parts of the Middle East. He even had the nerve to say it in front of Congress!

Pillar of Biblical Cloud

By Gilad Atzmon

Once again we've learned today that in the Jewish State, Goyim's blood translates into political power. In order to win the Israeli election, Benjamin Netanyahu feels the need to present the Israeli voter with a substantial pile of Palestinian corpses.

Like in the case of previous IDF's genocidal operations, the current  Israeli Pillar of Cloud also has a Biblical connotation. In Exodus 13:21-22, you will find the following: “By day the Lord went ahead of them in a pillar of cloud to guide them on their way and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light,”

Seemingly, the current Israel murderous assault against civilians is consistent with the Zionist secular interpretation of the Old Testament. " …then you must destroy them totally. Make no treaty with them and show them no mercy.”  (Deuteronomy 7:1-2). However,  this time it isn’t God who guides his chosen people. It is actually a democratically elected war criminal that was chosen by God’s favourite people.

Islamophobs Are Upset again: Spanish Radio praises Atzmon

Islamophobic bigot Harry's Place are once again in a state of panic

"The Spanish newspapers El Pais and El Mundo recently praised Atzmon uncritically, for his political positions on Jews and Israel." And "now the publicly-funded Spanish national broadcaster RTVE has published an interview with Gilad Atzmon, in which he speaks entirely about Jews, and barely says anything jazz.

Here are some quotes from the interview:

7:34 “all the Holocaust indoctrination, it was pretty heavy on me”

11:44 “my findings actually reveal the embarrassing fact that every form of Jewish politics is morbid, is dangerous, is tribal, is racially supremacist, is racist to the bone”

15:15 “Jewishness is different forms of ideology and politics that celebrate Jewish tribal supremacy”

17:48 “Jews didn’t invent tribalism. Tribalism is a human feature. They are just very good at it, some of them. Especially those who identify as Jews. Why? I would love to say why we are so good at it – although I don’t regard myself as a Jew any more – because we practise it for 3000 years!”

20:17 “Gay political philosophy is very similar. It’s very interesting because quite a few of those who oppose me, are actually Jewish and Palestinian gay activists”. RTVE: “Interesting.”  *laughs* GA:” It is very interesting but they wouldn’t admit this is what they oppose because they don’t have an argument. I argue that the difference between a Jew and a Zionist, is not very different from the difference between Homosexual and Gay. Homosexual is a sexual preference. Gay is a political identity. Very interesting. [...] When I realised that there is some similarity between Jewish tribal discourse, Jewish identity politics and gay politics, I started to look into it. [...] I was shocked to find out that all, or most of the scholars in the gay political discourse were Jews.”

'Israeli crimes against Palestinians have gone unpunished due to Western cover'

Israeli crimes against Palestinians have gone unpunished due to Western cover' from Gilad Atzmon on Vimeo.

http://presstv.com/

A peace activist says if Western cover was removed from giving impunity to crimes committed by Israel against defenseless people they would not have gone unpunished.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with selected foreign ambassadors to garner support for war on Hamas and thus war on the people of Palestine.

US Ambassador to Israel Daniel B Shapiro has already given the green light to Israel for a full-scale war into Gaza similar to the murderous rampage by the Israeli military at the end of 2008 in Operation Cast Lead that killed some 1,400 Gazans, mostly women and children.

Press TV has interviewed Ken O’Keefe, peace activist and former US marine from London, about this developing situation of war talk. Joining O’Keefe in this news analysis is Adie Mormech, human rights activist in Gaza, and Daniel Pipes, historian and political commentator from Florida. The following is an approximate transcription of the interview.

Press TV: Our guest in Florida was saying that the situation now lies with Hamas making a decision; that there was relative calm before this, but Hamas was the side that wanted this war and now it is the side that is going to decide whether there is going to be war. What do you think?

O’Keefe: I can’t even remember all the lies that were just said by Mr. Pipes in Florida.

First off there is no massacre in Israel, what massacre are you talking about? If we talk about the fourth largest military in the world, which has the latest high tech weapons going against a relatively defenseless population, which has nothing more than glorified fireworks in the form of these unguided rockets, which have killed less than ten people of the last many years.

How is it possible that this man can get away with saying there is a massacre on the Israeli side?

There is no massacre on the Israeli side there is nothing but continuing crimes against humanity and war crimes committed by the Israelis against a defenseless population, which includes over 800,000 children in Gaza.

It is absolutely absurd that these arguments can continue and that a man like this can even speak these words. Absolutely disgraceful.

The fact is that this all originates because of the original crime of the Palestinian’s land being stolen by the Israelis, by the UN declaration, which provided land to less than 15 percent of the population and then ultimately gifted Israel with the land that did not exist.

In their right, they have no right to this land whatsoever. That is the original crime and it is because of that crime that we see retaliation to this very day.

Bashar Assad's exclusive interview to RT

Is it a 'civil war' or just another Zio-driven interventionist war?

I also wonder why the BBC wouldn't give a platform to this English speaking  state leader?

In an exclusive interview with RT, President Bashar Assad said that the conflict in Syria is not a civil war, but proxy terrorism by Syrians and foreign fighters. He also accused the Turkish PM of eyeing Syria with imperial ambitions.

Assad told RT that the West creates scapegoats as enemies – from communism, to Islam, to Saddam Hussein. He accused Western countries of aiming to turn him into their next enemy.

While mainstream media outlets generally report on the crisis as a battle between Assad and Syrian opposition groups, the president claims that his country has been infiltrated by numerous terrorist proxy groups fighting on behalf of other powers.

In the event of a foreign invasion of Syria, Assad warned, the fallout would be too dire for the world to bear.

‘My enemy is terrorism and instability in Syria’

RT: President Bashar al-Assad of Syria, thank very much for talking to us today.

Bashar Assad: You are most welcome in Damascus.

RT: There are many people who were convinced a year ago that you would not make it this far. Here again you are sitting in a newly renovated presidential palace and recording this interview. Who exactly is your enemy at this point?

BA: My enemy is terrorism and instability in Syria. This is our enemy in Syria. It is not about the people, it is not about persons. The whole issue is not about me staying or leaving. It is about the country being safe or not. So, this is the enemy we have been fighting as Syria.

RT: I have been here for the last two days and I had the chance to talk to a couple of people in Damascus. Some of them say that whether you stay or go at this point does not really matter anymore. What do you say about this?

BA: I think for the president to stay or leave is a popular issue. It is related to the opinion of some people and the only way can be done through the ballot boxes. So, it is not about what we hear. It is about what we can get through that box and that box will tell any president to stay or leave very simply.

Paul Larudee: BDS, Arab Land and the Custodian of Absentee Property

http://othersite.org/

The 2005 call by more than 170 Palestinian organizations, both within Palestine and without, to boycott Israeli products and services, divest from companies that support and sustain Israel and sanction the Israeli state and its agencies is one of the most important and potentially one of the most effective strategies to end the injustices perpetrated against the Palestinian people as a result of the creation of a Zionist state and by Zionist actions even before.

Nothing in this article is intended to criticize or undermine BDS as a strategy.  On the contrary, BDS should be encouraged and pursued as vigorously as possible.  I am among those that believe that the only way to end the injustices is to end the state itself, but the participants in BDS need not agree about this in order to undertake BDS actions.

UK's responsibility to the Palestinians

Introduction by GA: In the following Guardian letter a few Palestinians and Pro Palestinian activists call for the British government to acknowledge publicly the responsibility for previous British administrations for the Balfour Declaration and Palestinian suffering. I totally agree with the content of the letter, yet, it fails to address the most crucial and obvious fact.

The Balfour declaration was a direct outcome of some intensive Jewish Lobby pressure in both Britain and the USA.

Unless Palestinians and their supporters are willing to address questions to do with Jewish power and lobbying, we won't be able to confront the menace caused by Zionism and the Jewish State.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2012/nov/01/uk-responsibility-to-the-palestinians

Today is the 95th anniversary of the Balfour Declaration, when the then foreign secretary, Arthur Balfour, signed a fateful letter to Lord Rothschild announcing that the British government "view with favour the establishment in Palestine of a National Home for the Jewish people". Britain thus gave the zionist movement carte blanche to transform the overwhelmingly Arab state of Palestine into a Jewish one.

A comment by Nahida Izzat on ICH

Through many years of work with Palestine solidarity, I came to realize that the movement is heavily infiltrated by Jewish (Zionist and anti-Zionist) activists*, thus affecting at core level the path, aims and strategy of the movement. They also have managed to influence many in the movement including some Palestinian "intellectuals".

Through this infiltration they were able to obliterate the concept of LIBERATION and remove it completely from the vocabulary.

Some other consequences of allowing such element at the heart of solidarity is their STEERING the movement towards a favourable position when dealing with "israeli"-Jews.

They aim to block intellectual discussion, suppress Academic Freedom, obstruct rational and scholarly debate, filter vital information and smother serious research that examines four main identifiable problems:

1) The problem of the Ideology of Jewish Supremacism (by accusation of anti-Semitism)

2) The problem of Global Jewish-Zionist Networking and Lobbying. (by accusation of anti-Semitism)

The Return of Ali Abu-Fighter

By Gilad Atzmon

Ali Abunimah, the Chicago-based, American-Palestinian activist, is, once again, on the attack. In the last few months he has launched campaigns against some of the most prominent pro-Palestinian figures such as Prof. Finkelstein, Prof. Chomsky, Greta Berlin, Col. Ann Wright and myself. But now he seems to stepping one gear up.

Following PLO chairman Mahmoud Abbas’ renunciation of the Palestinian Right of Return (ROR) on Israeli TV, Abunimah now criticizes both Abbas and legendary Palestinian leader Yasir Arafat for compromising the most elementary Palestinian cause i.e. the ROR.

Abunimah is a Palestinian exile and so deserves our support for criticising his leaders’ compromising of his most precious right. Still, it’s hard to grasp just why Abunimah is so outraged by Abbas’ comment when he himself is so intimately associated with the BDS and its leader Omar Barghouti who has sacrificed exactly the same right.

It was back in June when we were so shocked to find that BDS in Ramallah changed its 2005 goal statement. To its original statement “Ending (Israeli) occupation and colonization of all Arab lands” it added four simple but nonetheless highly significant, words. BDS’ first goal now reads:

“Ending its occupation and colonization of all Arab lands occupied in June 1967 and dismantling the Wall”. (http://www.bdsmovement.net/bdsintro)

In his recent book, Omar Barghouti reaffirms the above. In the introduction to his book, Barghouti specifies that the first BDS goal refers to 1967 "ending its occupation and colonization of all Arab lands [occupied in 1967] and dismantling the wall" (p. 6). On page 49, Barghouti lists "the minimal requirements of a just peace...BDS calls for ending Israel's 1967 military occupation of Gaza, the West Bank (including East Jerusalem), and other Arab territories in Lebanon and Syria." Skipping to p. 235, Appendix 1, "Call for the academic and cultural boycott of Israel," it again refers to "military occupation and colonization of the West Bank (including East Jerusalem) and Gaza since 1967."

Barghouti’s book and the BDS’s goal statement do not leave much room for speculation. They all have given op on pre-1948 Palestine. But what about the 1948 refugees and the 194 United Nation Resolution*? BDS 3rd goal contends that it is “Respecting, protecting and promoting the rights of Palestinian refugees to return to their homes and properties as stipulated in UN Resolution 194”

BDS indeed ‘respects’, ‘protects’ and ‘promotes’ the ROR, yet it clearly comes short of ‘demanding’. Let me assure Mr. Abunimah that PLO’s Abbas is also committed to ‘respect’, ‘protect’ and ‘promote’ the ROR.’ Yet, like BDS and Barghouti he fails to demand.

More significantly, both BDS and Omar Bargouti refused to Join or support The Global March to Jerusalem earlier this year. The Global March to Jerusalem was a symbolic reminder of the Palestinian right to return to their homes and land. Surprise surprise, Ali Abunimah also failed to support the March. Today, chief organizer of the Global March confirmed with me that he personally approached Mr. Abunimah back in March, but, for some reason, Abunimah declined to offer his support.
