Press TV: US signaling to Israel by denying visas

The United States is sending signals to Israel that “it is far from being at the Israeli conduct” by denying visa requests from hundreds of Israeli military and intelligence officials, an activist says.

“I think the American administration realized by now that they were gambling and for more than a while on the wrong horse,” Gilad Atzmon told Press TV in a phone interview on Thursday.

He made the remarks after a report said Washington refused to grant visas to Israeli officials over the past year.

According to the report published in the Hebrew-language daily Maariv, Washington is also giving short-term visas to Israeli army officials who are already in the US or making some of them leave for Canada to get their visas renewed after weeks.

On Monday - 'The Life of Bessie Smith'

Sarah Gillespie Quartet feat Gilad Atzmon

'The Life of Bessie Smith'

March 10th 2014, Pizza Express Jazz Club, Soho

8pm £15.00 To buy tickets go *here*

The Guardian - John Fordham

British-American singer-songwriter Sarah Gillespie isn't just a powerful amalgam of influences including Bob Dylan and Tom Waits (with an occasional diversion into sounding like Edith Piaf in a bluegrass band), she's a socially sensitive performer who writes pungently telling lyrics and has the rare knack of making politics and music sound as if they belong together. She's the diametric opposite of the 21st-century hypercool jazz singer and she doesn't keep her emotions on the back burner.

In this respect, she has plenty in common with the founding heroine of blues and folk-rooted vocals over the past century, "Empress of the Blues" Bessie Smith. Smith was one of Sarah Gillespie's earliest models, and she's the subject of Gillespie's tribute show in the Jazz Interpretations series at London's Pizza Express Jazz Club on 10 March, with a specially-assembled quartet including pianist Kit Downes and surprise guests yet to be announced. Gillespie's realism, passionate energy, wry wit and insight into the personal and social challenges Smith faced in the 1920s and 30s make her an appropriate torch-bearer for the legendary singer's legacy.

"(Gillespie) mixes urban folk, jazz and vivid intimate lyrics you can imagine scrawled in lipstick on Beat Hotel bed linen." The Independent. ★★★★

On Abby Martin, Freedom and Tolerance

Abby Martin, who works for Kremlin-funded Russia Today, said Russian action in Crimea was 'wrong' during her a broadcastBy Gilad Atzmon

RT’s presenter Abby Martin has bought herself a reputation as a 911 sceptic and a vocal opponent of Israeli‘s policies . Yesterday she denounced Russian action in Crimea while she was live on air.

She said she 'would not sit here and apologise or defend (Russian) military aggression,' before saying her 'heart went out' to the Ukrainian people whom she described as 'the real losers here.'
Ms Martin hosts on the American version of the channel and made her statement at the end of her show

http://youtu.be/IHYUPbnSs_0

She said: 'Before I wrap up the show, I wanted to say something from my heart about the ongoing political crisis in Ukraine and Russia's military occupation of Crimea. 'Just because I work here, for RT, doesn't mean I don't have editorial independence and I can't stress enough how strongly I am against any military intervention in sovereign nations' affairs.’

'What Russia did is wrong!'

Following Martin’s announcement, many western media outlets were quick to denounce the ‘Kremlin’s funded’ TV network and its authoritarian manner, but the fact that Martin openly criticised the Russian government proves the opposite. Martin’s statement means that Russia is far more respectful of freedom of speech and thought than our so called ‘Free West.’

Only Then Shalom May Prevail

By Gilad Atzmon

PM Netanyahu told President Obama earlier today that “Palestinians are failing to advance peace.”

Netanyahu was obviously correct!

1. Palestinians must stop oppressing Israelis and Jews.

2. If the Palestinians want peace, they better end the occupation immediately.

3. The Palestinians must stop building in the West Bank.

4. And if the Palestinians want peace for real, they better give up on the racist, supremacist, anti Jewish  idea that Israel becomes a true democracy and a state of its citizens.

Only then Shalom may prevail.

The War Against Trevor (LaBonte)

Gilad Atzmon interviews Trevor Labonte

Until two years ago, Trevor LaBonte was one of the most successful Jazz artists in Texas. He had been performing every night and in the most prestigious venues. He was the first-call guitar player for many of Austin’s prominent musicians. But then it all changed.

Gilad Atzmon: Trevor you were a local Jazz hero, what happened?

Trevor LaBonte: An activist named Craig Berlin, owner of Pro-Tape Staff in Austin, organized a campaign  to destroy my career by terrorizing the entire Austin music community. He creates Facebook posts in which he tags 50 or 60 important people in town, and reports to them that I am a ‘Nazi,’ an ‘Anti-Semite,’ and a ‘holocaust denier.’ Berlin demands that everyone must do everything in their power to make sure I never play another note in public. At first, most people ignored him, but  then others took up his cause, including the radio DJ Andy Langer from KGSR, helping to make sure I have become a hate figure and completely ostracized.

Let me understand correctly, you didn’t publish a book or even an article, all that vile campaign against you was launched because you expressed some thoughts on your own Facebook page? Is it correct?

--Yes, that's what happened.

How have your friends reacted to this onslaught?

--They are confused and afraid, mostly. Many of them quietly agree with at least some of what I say, and they are still friends with me. But understandably, they are scared to be listed in a performance announcement with me, since they would be certain to draw the hissing and screeching and boycott of Craig Berlin's fans. Most of my friends are sad and just want to play music together. Anyone who tries to stick up for me, or just moderate the witch hunt against me,  risks being similarly attacked themselves. And the attacks are vile. Musicians are not used to being vilified for unusual opinions

Anthony Lawson: Syria - The Crime and the Criminals

The Syrian civil war, insurrection, rebellion, revolt, uprising, call it what you will, was not home grown in Syria by Syrians with differing outlooks as to how their nation should be governed—as the mainstream media would have you believe—it was part of a strategy pre-planned by vicious, sociopathic foreigners called “Neocons” and they began their planning in 1991, following the first invasion of Iraq, code-named: Dessert Storm.  To date, the major beneficiary of their diabolical planning has been the Jewish State, but that maybe coming to an end.

IMPRESSIONS OF MY TWO DAYS WITH GILAD ATZMON

By Trevor La Bonte

From the moment we picked up Gilad at the Austin-Bergstrom Int’l Airport, it was a joy. He was warm, friendly, compassionate, highly perceptive, was always smiling, and is hilarious one moment and profound and serious in the next. He carried only his alto saxophone case, a heavy backpack, and medium-sized suitcase, which I found out were mainly stuffed full of copies of his book, “The Wandering Who?” and other than than, he was traveling lightly.

We took him from the airport to Magnolia Cafe and he began asking me questions about being blackballed from performing. The more I told him, the more outraged and dumbfounded he became, which was a little shocking to me because I had no idea he would become so outraged and care so much, always seeing the larger philosophical implications of everything. He actually cared more about me than I did, and pointed out that the jewish ethnic activists were doing a lot more than just harassing me, they are actually terrorizing the entire community by threatening everyone, forbidding them from hiring me, talking to me, or even being my FB friend. This changed my whole perception of things, and made me angry too. I didn’t think it was such a big deal when I though they were bothering only me, but when I realized they are holding the entire town hostage, I had to agree that this behavior is unacceptable. Gilad seemed most upset that another jazz artist was silenced, and and reminded me that this kind of suppression of free speech is a crime against humanity. It can be hard to see the full significance of something you are at the center of. Luckily, jazz players are ready for anything, so he was unfazed to learn that even the drummer and bass player I had lined up to play with us had backed out two days before the performance, saying there was “too much negativity surrounding the event,” and I had to agree with them, except that the source of the negativity was not me. I have played hundreds of duo gigs, and am actually quite fond of the configuration, even though it is much more work to play all the bass lines, provide groove, rhythmic interest, harmonic color, and to provide the melodicist with responses while he is stopping to take a breath between phrases, all the while trying not to clash of get in the way. It sounds more complicated than it is, though. Your ear tells you what to play, and it really doesn’t require as much thought after awhile.

From Xenophobia to Oikophobia

Alimuddin Usmani Interviews Gilad Atzmon - we spoke about Dieudonné, the 'socialist' , The Zionification of the Left,  Oikophobia, the devastating impact of the Frankfurt Yeshiva and the 68 revolution, Bernard-Henri Lévy, Shoa & Humour, the Jewish Question and more..

http://croah.fr/a-la-une/entretien-exclusif-gilad-atzmon/

Alimuddin Usmani: Joe le Corbeau is a French cartoonist. He is a friend of Dieudonné and often makes a mockery of Zionist figures like BHL, 'the Holocaust religion' and the New World Order. On January 28, he was arrested by the police for having posted on his website a picture of someone performing the quenelle salute in front of a Jewish school. Joe le Corbeau has been accused of incitement to ethnic or racial hatred. Dozens of mainstream media outlets published the same quenelle without having any problem. In your opinion, is Joe le Corbeau subject to tribal revenge via the French judiciary?

Gilad Atzmon: Once again, we learn that neither the French ‘Socialist’ government nor its Jerusalemite paymasters can cope with a certain type of parody. Is it a coincidence?

For generations, Yiddish humor has been outrageously mocking the goyim’s alleged ‘naivety’ and ‘stupidity’ while simultaneously celebrating an imaginary ‘Jewish wit’. But as we learn, once again, ‘mocking others’ is a Jews-only territory.

At least the French ‘Socialist’ government has been kind enough to let us know what Jewish chosenness actually means in practice.

But it goes even further. In the past, the Left was concerned with the rise of xenophobia – animosity towards the stranger, the foreigner, the ‘Other’.  But what we see in contemporary France is the complete opposite, namely Oikophobia – an emerging hatred and fear of the Oikos, i.e. the home, the indigenous, the host, the rooted, the authentic.

In order to combat xenophobia, the New Left, dominated by Frankfurt Yeshiva graduates, introduced us to identity politics  – a manifest attempt to break society up into multiple marginal sectors. The outcome was a swift metamorphosis of Left culture. Traditional working class politics was replaced by a fake notion of diversity that was translated, in practice, into a manifold of meaningless sectarian clashes.

Threatened by nationalism and patriotism, the Jewish intelligensia wanted to see society broken up into manifold discourses driven by ethnicity, race and gender (e.g. LGBT). It basically re-defined the Western ethos as a collective of godless synagogues.  The post-'68 Left joined this very dangerous political experiment in a desperate attempt to break down the overtly cohesive, nationalist working class. As we all know, the consequences have been devastating. Instead of overcoming xenophobia, racism or intolerance, each of us has become a stranger in our own home. We voluntarily Other-ised ourselves to the point of oblivion.

This is exactly where Dieudonné intervenes. By means of humour, he has managed to re-unite us all: the Black, the Arab, the White, the poet and the patriot. He has reminded us all what is really meant by resistance.

Dieudonné has managed to re-launch a genuine Left dialectic dynamic fuelled by negation. Once again, we are united by our oppressors. And they can be easily identified – the forceful and domineering Jewish Lobby and its ‘Socialist’ puppet government.

Joe le Corbeau is also opposed to Oikophobia – his humour is an emblem of the Oikos, i.e. the home, the nation, the rooted, the authentic, Frenchness.  I guess that a half-century of Frankfurt School indoctrination is about to come to an end.

Alimuddin Usmani: Joe le Corbeau is the publisher of 'Shoah Hebdo', a parody of the satirical publication 'Charlie Hebdo' which often targets Catholicism and Islam. Since Charlie Hebdo is regularly supported by the French government, does Joe Le Corbeau's work help us to become aware of the double standard concerning blasphemy?

Gilad Atzmon: It is far from a coincidence that the only people who still touch upon truth within Western society are comedians and satirists.  Politics, media, academia and the Arts have long since been castrated by means of political correctness.

Satire is certainly the last frontier, and it explains very well why the French Jewish elite unleashed its Socialist Big Brother to impose the current Orwellian Newspeak measures in a desperate attempt to remove le Corbeau, Dieudonné and others from our public milieu.  But, so far, their desperate campaign has backfired. They have made Dieudonné into an international hero.

God's 12 Biggest Dick Moves in the Old Testament

God's 12 Biggest Dick Moves in the Old Testament

By Rob Bricken

Before Jesus arrived and his divine father chilled out, the Old Testament God was, ironically, kind of a hellraiser. He was not a nice guy. He really liked killing people. And he may have actually been insane, if his willingness to randomly murder devout worshippers like Moses was any indication. Here are the 12 craziest, most awful things God did in the Old Testament, back before that wacked-out hippie Jesus softened him up.

1) Sending Bears to Murder Children

So a guy named Eliseus was traveling to Bethel when a bunch of kids popped up and made fun of him for being bald. That had to suck, and you can't blame Eliseus for being pissed and cursing them to God. But God had Eliseus' back, by which I mean he sent two bears to maul 42 of these kids to death. For making fun of a bald dude. I have to think Eliseus was looking for something along the lines of a spanking, or maybe the poetic justice of having the kids go bald, but nope, God went straight for the bear murder. But on the plus side, that pile of 40+ children's corpses never made fun of anybody again. (4 Kings 2:23-24)

2) Turning Lot's Wife to Salt
