Sameh Habeeb: The Wandering Who, an attempt to clear the dust

Introduction by Gilad Atzmon: Reviews for The Wandering Who keep coming. So far I didn’t see a single bad review. We have seen Zionists and Jewish ‘anti’ Zionists A.K.A AZZ (Anti Zionist Zionists) desperate attempts to ban the book, but, they’ve yet to offer any intelligible reasoning to do so. It is reassuring to see so many different people enjoying the book and reviewing it so positively.

The following review is written by Gaza Journalist Sameh Habeeb. It is, indeed, depressing to find out that Habeeb’s experience with the AZZ wasn’t particularly easy. It seems as if Habeeb knows what The Wandering Who is all about. He realises very well the political culture that is criticised by the book.   “As a Palestinian”, says Habeeb,  “I  believe (that) this book adds more weight to the Palestine solidarity movement.” I am left wondering who should I listen to: Sameh Habeeb, the Palestinian from Gaza who read my book, or should I better follow the orders of some four dysfunctional Jewish ‘anti’ Zionists who insist to stop my book in the name of the Palestinians?   I guess that you know the answer.

For this, he is constantly under attack.  His new book has recently drew the ire of the mainstream once more.

I find myself laughing out loud. A mere thirty minutes after the panic lights started to flash, Israeli hasbara author and pro-war enthusiast David Aaronovitch was informing his fans at the Zionist cyber-ghetto that he was ‘on the case’. No doubt Aaronovitch knew exactly who to call.

Gilad Atzmon: Liam Fox Is Not a ‘Useful Idiot’

A rather stinky Israeli espionage mole has just been exposed in Britain. Yesterday, Liam Fox the Defence Secretary resigned following revelations about his dubious relationship with Adam Werritty. Some 17 years younger than Fox, Werrity has been involved with Fox both in business and in the conservative Atlanticist think-tank ‘The Atlantic Bridge’. While Fox was Defence Minister, Werrity visited Fox at the Ministry on many occasions, accompanied Fox on numerous official trips, attended some of his meetings with foreign dignitaries and used official-looking business cards which announced him as an 'adviser' to Fox – and all despite having no official government post whatsoever. However, it has now also been revealed that Fox and Werritty were heavily financed by the Israeli lobby and ‘beyond’.

In the The Daily Mail Craig Murray wondered whether Mossad was using both Fox and Werritty as 'useful idiots'.

Laura Stuart: Zionist Cowardice and a "Thinly Veiled" Attack on Myself and the P.S.C.

This is the second time this week I witnessed the P.S.C. come under attack the other time was a question as to who funds them raised by Jonathan Hoffman at a meeting hosted by M.E.M.O. at the House of Commons, about The Cold War on British Muslims. Who actually funds the "cold war" on British Muslims was part of the presentation of a report by The Cordoba Foundation. You may well ask what my niqab has to do with the P.S.C. Well after the attack on the Mavi Marmara the P.S.C. hosted an event where some of us who had been on board were able to speak of our experiences, the event was open to anyone who wanted to come and listen to eye witness accounts not just P.S.C. members.

Laura Stuart is a Mavi Marmara Survivor (must watch)

 

Introduction by Gilad Atzmon: In this short address to Palestinian Solidarity Campaign Laura Stuart says “Some of the things that I find disturbing now, more than the scenes of blood, and the massacre itself are, I happen to live in the Finchley area. And sometimes, when I was looking at the soldiers on the boat, pointing their guns at me, I was thinking, do any of you have dual passports? Do any of you live just down the road for me?”

Stuart is indeed correct,  this is a matter of great concern. Considering the vast Israeli record on war crimes, the British Government better look closely into this unique group of dual passport holders. Seemingly, our government is doing the complete opposite. Two weeks ago it amended the British Universal Jurisdiction Laws in order to appease leading Israeli war criminals.

I tend to agree with Shlomo Sand that Jews invented themselves as a nation over a century ago. But it was interesting to find out this week that Naomi Wimborne Idrissi and her three Jewish Anti Zionist comrades AKA AZZ (anti Zionist Zionists) were desperate to invent Gilad Atzmon.

For me, the Jewish anti Zionists, exhibit the most amusing ideological  pathology of all Jewish collectives. On Monday morning, the Palestine Telegraph called Wimborne Idrissi and her mini clan not to picket my book launch.  Wimborne Idrissi, was, seemingly, deaf to the Palestinian call. In the evening she appeared along side another three of her comrades at the resource centre, London. They were not alone. There were another three allies who identified themselves initially as ISM but later had to admit that they were actually representing themselves and themselves only.

I actually went out of the conference centre to meet my adversaries. I wanted to invite them in to take part in the discussion. I thought to myself that if they have a valid criticism, they may well want it to be heard in public. I thought that more than anyone else, they should join the gathering and understand once and for all what my writing is all about and why more and more people regard the AZZ as the enemy within.

The Naturei Karta Jews turned up with their banners, stood for photographs, did a video interview all with no fuss, their agenda is clear they want to see the end of the State of Israel. When I e.mailed around the video of the Naturei Karta interview I received a reply from a Jewish lady in America warning me that they do not have the same agenda as us!

Saturday I was in Trafalgar square for the anti war protest and although I didn't notice any Jewish groups there I was especially uplifted (sarcasm) as a Muslim woman, to have read Harry's Place and learned that they were 100% behind the continued war and occupation of Afghanistan in the name of women's rights! Harry's Place a rabid pro Zionist website believes that firing missiles from drones is liberating for Afghan women never mind that said women are too often left widows and grieving mothers.

Introduction by Gilad Atzmon: According to Golan Azulai, everything Israel is doing is nothing but  ‘legal’.  Azulai  is obviously wrong. But you may note that the Hasbara man cannot distinguish between ‘the legal’ and ‘the ethical’. This is indeed a fundamental problem within the Jewish discourse both secular and religious.

Judaism is the acceptance of God’s law. It is not an ethically oriented precept- it is a religious method of blind observance. Tragically enough, Zionism that was there initially  to ‘liberate’ the Jew is, in practice,  just another method of blind observance.  In a  Talmudic manner,  Zionism would cling to legalism and avoid any form of ethical thinking. This fact alone explains why Israel is the biggest threat to humanity and humanism.

Gilad Atzmon captures the essence of his book, The Wandering Who? A Study of Jewish Identity Politics, on the first page of his foreword.  The book is about the conundrums of Jewish identity—what is it; why is it special, if it is in fact special; why do the rest of us so often celebrate it; what does the fixation on it mean for Israel and for its neighbors?  He wastes no time getting to the core of the issue—which is the politics these identity issues create.  On page 1, he cites his own very rightwing grandfather, who he says knew perfectly well that “tribalism can never live in peace with humanism and universalism.”  His grandfather was an unapologetic tribal Jewish nationalist, as were virtually all of the early Zionists in Israel, and none of them had any truck with humanism or universalist notions of coexistence with Arabs or Jewish-Palestinian equality in Palestine.

Gilad Atzmon: Supremacism Revisited

A few days ago I compared two critiques of my new book ‘The Wandering Who”. One was by rabid Zionist Mark Gardner and the other by American academic Kevin MacDonald. I called my piece ‘Supremacists on The Wandering Who’. 

In my article I labeled Gardner as a ‘Jewish Supremacist’ and MacDonald as a ‘White Supremacist’. However, since the publication of my column it has been pointed out by a few readers that I may have been insufficiently careful in the way I attributed supremacism to Kevin MacDonald.

The definition of supremacism is actually pretty straightforward. It is the belief that a particular race, species, ethnic group, religion, gender, sexual orientation, belief system or culture is superior to others, and thus entitles those who identify with it to dominate, control or rule those who do not.  

What is clear beyond any doubt is that such a definition fits Zionist ideology, discourse or practice like a glove. Zionism is driven by the belief that Jewish people are entitled to dominate, control and rule their supposed ‘promised land’ at the expense of its indigenous population i.e. the Palestinians.   But is this only true of Zionism? Is not any Jewish ‘progressive’ discourse, driven by tribal and racial inclinations towards segregation and determined to enforce on others how their struggle must be conducted, is not this also fundamentally supremacist?   

My point is actually very simple and, also it seems, devastating. I believe that every single Jewish political discourse is chauvinist to the bone and is either already supremacist or on the verge of becoming supremacist.
